WELTC AGM 2026

The 72nd Annual General Meeting of the Company (being the 115th Annual General Meeting of the Club) will be held at the Clubhouse on Wednesday 27th May 2026 at 6.30 pm.

 

All Club members are invited to attend the AGM and to play in the Social Session after the Meeting. There will be drinks and nibbles available.  Please note that this announcement on the website is to outline the business to be considered at the meeting. As part of this meeting, we will also share the process for refreshing our Articles of Association. The Articles will be sent out for members to vote after the meeting.

Our volunteers generously give their time and energy to manage every aspect of running the tennis club, always striving to achieve what is best for the club and its members.  

 

The club is run entirely by volunteers who give up their time to and it goes without saying that they give up a lot of their time to make it as successful as it is. This is an opportunity to hear the Annual Report and recognise the work that goes into running the club. While not everyone may be able to volunteer, taking a moment to show your appreciation and support means a great deal to those who give their time to the club

Submitting A Proposal

If you wish to submit a proposal to the AGM and request a vote then please write to the Committee Secretary, Mrs. Susan O´Toole (secretary@pinnertennis.co.uk). You will need to have someone to second your proposal.

Suggestions can also be brought up at the meeting under the agenda item AOB but cannot be voted on if they are not submitted in advance.

Please note that any member can at any time submit a proposal to any Committee Member to be discussed at regular committee meetings.
