Membership

WELTC offers a variety of memberships for all standards of play and all age groups as well as membership for those that just want to come along to the social events. Students get discounted membership and reduced fees for players that live further away. Free balls and participation in social events are included in your membership.

Assessment

Some categories require an assessment of playing standard before an application can be accepted. An assessment is held at the club where you take part in a friendly doubles match with three other club players. The assessment usually takes place during a weekend tennis social session and you will be invited to enjoy a nice afternoon of tennis.

If you are a beginner or you feel a little bit rusty, you are most welcome to join our Seven Day category and work your way up to becoming a full member. You will be eligible to play anytime except at Weekend Social and on Junior nights. Our Head Coach, Shyam Dave, is relentless in helping new members get in touch with people of a similar playing standard, so you will improve your game before you know it.

Juniors do not have to do an assessment, but once they progress and can play consistently with adults, they will be invited to take part in an informal assessment so that they can progress to becoming a Student Member.
