Clubhouse

Heading up our social activities at the Club is our Social Secretary Jay Patel who always has a wonderful programme of functions and events planned. 

Most activities concentrate around the tennis courts, but many have involved events held in the evenings in our well-maintained Clubhouse with its large balcony, spacious licenced bar and lounge area and Function Hall.

Some of the current and past events have included Fun Tournaments (Mince Pies and Mulled Wine/Wimbledon Strawberries and Cream), Charity Events such as Red Nose Day and MacMillan Coffee Mornings, Dinner and Dances, Quiz Nights, Casino Night and our summer Junior BBQ and Adult Jazz BBQ. We’ve even had a Babyshower! Lastly and not to be missed are our highly popular Christmas parties that have been held each year at either at the Club House or at external venues.

Our clubhouse bar provides refreshments on all our events and is particularly popular during our Summer League Home Matches when all members are encouraged to come down, have a drink, and support the home team.

Socially there is something for everyone to get involved from Juniors to Adult members.

Open Days

Our open days are held twice a year, in March and April, where non-members are welcome to come along and enjoy the facilities of the club at first hand! These Open Days are renown for our fabulous bacon and sausage breakfast rolls and homemade cakes and treats that are all generously supplied by our members. Homemade cakes are often seen at our social tennis sessions at the weekends too.
