Lord's Cricket Ground Visit

ON MONDAY 17TH FEBRUARY

Dear Members,

I have been approached by a number of members for me to take a party around Lord’s Cricket Ground. Lord’s as you probably know is the most famous and historical cricket ground in the world. In addition not many people know that Lord’s was where Lawn Tennis first “took off” in 1875 and at that time the Marylebone Cricket Club at Lord’s produced the first set of laws of Lawn Tennis. Real or Royal tennis is still played there.

I have provisionally arranged this visit for Monday 17th February commencing at 10.30am. The tour takes just under two hours and lunch can be arranged afterwards at a local pub for those who would like to.

Anyone who would like to come please let me know. Family and friends would be most welcome.
